How to Make Face Tea

Lisa, I have been making "face tea" since I was a teenager. I started steaming when I first started breaking out. I haven't done it for years and really don't remember what I put in the water. Probably whatever herbs my mother had in the cabinet, such as basil, parsley and oregano 🌿! Lol I didn't do much research back then. I probably read about it in a magazine. We are taking 30 years ago !

HI Margi - What a kick! I have actually used these since they were called facial steams - but I must admit, I like the new term Face Tea - it's fun and explains a bit of the process in the name. I am now curious to try with everyday herbs - I imagine a bit of rosemary and thyme would be quite envigorating :D

I really like this idea! Its been a while since I also "steamed" my face. :). When you say "wash your face" in the instructions - do you mean just to wet your face? Are are you suggesting to actually wash your face? I am thinking that you mean to wash your face - like the sea washes ashore on the beach kind of wash. Not to literally wash your face. Am I right?

Thanks so much!

Hi Febe - Thanks for yoir kind comment! What I mean by washing the face is to be sure it is clean and free of makeup :)
