Happy Halloween - Moisturizing Make-up Removal
Happy Halloween! If you've ever wanted to do a bit of artistic face painting, today is the day to let your imagination go wild.
When you're finished creating the most fantastical, gorgeous make-up – go celebrate 'All Hallowed's Eve' without a worry in the world.
Even if you party through the night and arrive home almost too tired to remove your make-up, I'm going to show you how to remove your make-up, cleanse your face, and moisturize your skin – all in one go.
Not only is this method budget-friendly, but it's good for all skin types (even sensitive).
You need one ingredient:
Oil – sweet almond, apricot, olive, thistle, or jojoba
and one tool:
Cotton rounds – a generous amount is recommended
Dampen a cotton round. Drizzle oil on it until it is soaked (but not so much that it drips). Gently massage the face and neck with the cotton round. The oil will dissolve the make-up and lift it off.
Replace with a fresh cotton round (and more oil) as needed. Don't skimp and don't rub hard! Repeat the process until the used cotton round shows no trace of make-up.
This method will also remove mascara (even waterproof).
Rinse your face in plain water. Finish with your regular (alcohol-free) skin tonic or a light spritz of hydrosol.
Finally drip 6-7 drops of the oil into your palms and rub between your hands to warm it. Apply this to your face and neck with gentle upward strokes.
Check the mirror. That gorgeous face and glowing skin is yours.
Now, go celebrate!
