Discount Solution - Tropical Luxury Body Scrub
This is a quick and simple body scrub that will not only exfoliate, but nourish and moisturize your skin, leaving it supple, delicately soft and feeling like you have just come from a tropical spa treatment where exotic butterflies land on your hand in admiration of the softness of your skin (and you will have, except it will be your own super luxurious at-home spa treatment).
You may even already have the 3 necessary ingredients at hand
- shea butter
- shredded coconut (that's the tropical part)
- sweet almond oil
The coconut will exfoliate your skin while the butter and oil moisturize and condition it. When you have finished working the scrub around, rinse and – TIP – allow your skin air dry (that's the secret part that will make you butterfly-landing smooth). If you really really hate the idea of air-drying, then gently pat dry.
Enjoy!

Method (for one application)
Put 2 tablespoonsful of shea butter into a small bowl. Drizzle 2-3 teaspoons oil over the butter and work it in with a spatula until you have an easy-to-spread consistency. Add 2-3 teaspoons of shredded coconut and mix thoroughly. You may need/want to adjust the consistency after adding the coconut so it has a spreadability that suits your specific desire. To Apply
The scrub should be applied to damp skin. You might want to wet your skin, then turn off the water while you apply the scrub. Apply with a gentle, circular motion, working up one leg at a time to your torso. Then, apply to your arms, working in gentle circular motion up to your shoulders. Finally, apply to your torso (again, gentle circular motion). The coconut will exfoliate your skin while the butter and oil moisturize and condition it.
