DIY Make-up Tips: All About Mineral Make-up

Wouldn't it be cool if there was an online school for DIY'ers who want to learn how to make mineral make-up – one with guidelines, recipes, explanations, how-to's and more?

There is!

Check out Susan's blog, Point of Interest and visit the Mineral Make-up Page for an overview of what's on offer.

Meantime, I'll leave you with this Mineral Make-up Tip of the Day:
When you've created a color mix that you're really pleased with, always save a small portion so you'll have the possibility of duplicating it later (especially if you're the kind of person who gets so excited about the fab colors you're creating that you forget to take notes).

Do Tell

Have you ever needed/wanted to duplicate a color you'd made? Were you successful?

Comments

I tell everyone write everything down because you won't remember it, and I tell everyone to keep a little sample of the product so you can make it again. I all my samples in bags on a ring with their names so I can make the products over and over again. My best friend made a lovely colour she called Merlot, but we had to figure out how to make it FOUR TIMES because she didn't keep good notes. (Yes, I've already given her the lecture!) But we did have a few samples of the eye shadow, so she was able to replicate it each time!

Thanks for the link!

And totally right you are about that Susan! I, of course, NEVER forget to take notes as I NEVER get carried away with tweaking a color bit by bit...
