Sample Sized Lotion Bars and The Continued Quest

Ever since finding the ideal containers for sample sized lotions bars, I've been on a hunt for the ideal form so I could fill these cute little tins and start using them.

A trip to the kitchen accessory department was just the ticket. These silicone forms – normally used for making candies and chocolates – were the perfect size. There was even a selection of different shapes.

Here's a peek at a small batch of lotion bars with my 2 favorite butters: sal and kpangnan. I've been handing out little sample sized lotion bars right and left lately. So far, everyone has been pleased and given me positive feedback.

Still Perfecting

I'm still developing my lotion bar formula. The goal is to create the be-all and end-all, most ultimate, luxurious lotion bar formula in the galaxy. That takes time, testing, and more testing.

The latest batches include several different oils – both new oils and combinations of 'old faves'. Prediction: I shall succeed – at one point. It's going to be tough work, and take lots of slathering and smoothing and rubbing into heels, elbows, hands, and even face, but someone's gotta do it...

Stay tuned!
