How To: Pineapple and Amla Face Cleanser

Combine these few simple fruit powders and in 5 minutes flat you're all set to cleanse and gently exfoliate your face and neck and while treating your nose to a citrussy-fresh scent.

This modular mix can be combined with any number of liquids for an instant face wash – or try it with this cleansing gel for an instant nourishing mask.

Does it get any easier than this? I don't believe it does!

Ingredients and Tools

Container for your final product (a clear PET bottle is easy to dispense from)
Bowl
Spoon
French White Clay
Orange Peel Powder
Powdered Amla
Powdered Pineapple

Method

For a 100ml bottle, measure out approximately

  • 2 tablespoons white clay
  • 1 tablespoon amla
  • 1 tablespoon orang
  • 1 teaspoon pineapple

Mix thoroughly and transfer to your container.

Tip: not sure how much your container holds? Add the ingredients directly to the bottle, layering them up. Be sure to leave enough headroom to shake everything together.

Ta da!

Enjoy!

María - I was pleasantly surprised at how beautifully this worked compared to how simple it was to make! :)

In just love all the dry mixes and I still have to try one with pineapple, I have the powder but haven't used it yet. I usually put oatmeal in my blends, how's that for a facial smoothie :-)
