Hair Care Tips You (Maybe) Never Knew: 5

Welcome to the fifth in this series of hair care tips. Today we're looking at an easy, super quick (and inexpensive) hair conditioner that takes only a teensy bit of practice to get just right.

TIP 5. Easy Peasy Natural Conditioner
A light application of jojoba, coconut, or hempseed oil is a wonderful hair conditioner and can be applied to dry or wet hair.

How to Do It
The trick to this tip: less is more. You know your own hair best, so you will have to feel your way to the correct amount for you. Distribute by rubbing a few drops at a time between palms and 'combing' through the hair with fingers.

A very light layer adds sheen and conditions without greasiness. For dry ends, start with the ends (when your hands have the most amount of oil).

PS: This tip is good for ALL hair types: straight, wavy, curly, koily, kinky, dry, greasy, thinning, heavy, dandruffy, sensitive, dyed, straightened, bleached, permed, impossible, frizzy, spongy, crunchy and all other manner of head hair.

I have heard that castor oil (Jamaican black castor oil) is useful also for hair. It doesn't smell quite as good as the others you've selected though.

I've heard this as well, but haven't had a chance to work with it. I think it's recommended for really dry and curly hair
